Participate in an intensive summer research experience the summer before your first year of college!

The Accelerate Cancer Education (ACE) Research Internship will be held from June 12th-July 21st 2023 at the University of Kansas Cancer Center on Monday-Thursdays from 9am-4pm and Fridays from 9am-3pm. Students will be paid a stipend for completing the internship!

10 high school juniors and senior graduates that attend high school in Wyandotte County are selected.

Students work 1:1 with a professional/graduate research mentor in an interactive laboratory setting. 

Learn crucial research skills such as; data collection and analysis, laboratory techniques, community health, and more.

Students get to show the importance of multiculturalism through music, dancing, fashion, and much more at multicultural night.
