15 Year Recognition

In October of 199, the first Saturday Academy took place at KCKCC with 20 high school students.   

Our founding partners were from District #500, KCKPS, Dr. Gene Fight, KCKCC, Dr. Ed Kremer, KUMC, HCPP Director,Ms. Iral Porter and K-12 Initiative Director, Ms.

Marcia Pomeroy. In October 2014, our Saturday Academy has grown to 190 middle and high school students, continuing the beginning partnerships and adding partnerships with the Kauffman Center, Kansas Health Foundation and DST Corp. Students engage in science, math and technology modules, team building and original poetry workshops.
